Burn - Art

Put another log on the fire, light another candle, and smoke 'em if you got'em. Take your time to look into these flames and not just at them. You might see something quite different about my fire photography. With the use of certain shooting techniques and software, I have been able to capture the depth and texture of an isolated flicker in time to create dramatic imagery. Gaze into the fire and I believe you will be relaxed in the same way many people benefit from meditation. It's a great way to work through a dilemma or shed the stress of the day. These still images have no movement but I believe you can still have an effect of rejuvenation if you give them a chance. You get the benefit of the beautiful fiery shapes without the soot. If you can spare a moment, tell me how these images make you feel. I love the feedback.
